Welcome to the Joseph Hope Community Food Pantry web page
If you reside in the Plainfield, Hancock, Almond or Bancroft area, we are here to help you stretch your grocery dollar. Whether it be an illness, unexpected emergency, job loss, or just too much month left at the end of the money, we want to help.
- Distribution Days and Times
Joseph Hope Community Food Pantry distributes food on a first come, first served basis on the third Friday of every month between 3 and 5 pm. If you are experiencing an extreme food emergency outside of this time, please contact the church office at 715-335-6905 and we will have one of our pantry coordinators contact you. - Participating TEFAP Pantry
Joseph Hope Community Food Pantry participates in The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). This is a US Department of Agriculture Food assistance program that distributes government purchased food commodities. This program is income based and open to all Wisconsin residents. Please ask a registrar at the pantry for more information to see if you may qualify. TEFAP commodities are distributed on the third Friday along with our normal distribution. - Donate
Joseph Hope depends on the support of our community. If you would like to donate non-expired food items, please contact the NewLife Church office at (715)335-6905 to ensure someone is available to accept your donation.

THANK YOU!
- Volunteer
Joseph Hope Community Food Pantry is run and staffed by volunteers. We have no paid staff. The pantry relies on these volunteers to perform a wide range of activities from office work to picking up donated food items to packaging these items for distribution.
Some of the volunteer opportunities include:
- Distributing food items to customers from 3 pm to 5 pm on the third Friday of every month.
- Packing cold/freezer bags from 1 pm to 3 pm on the third Friday of the month prior to the 3 pm distribution.
- Packing dry, shelf stable bags on the Wednesday prior to the Friday Distribution.
If you or your organization would like to volunteer, please contact our pantry coordinator at 715-697-3672 or the church office at 715-335-6905. There is no time commitment that you must fulfill. You may volunteer as little or as much as you are available.
